Fire
all the things that come up
when a social life is lost
in the midst of walls and rumors
of walls, wars, and other
familiar yet daunting news
I am still not willing to be
intolerant towards others
because of religion...
it's man-made, most people agree
but will still argue if one
doesn't believe the same as he or she
a bomb got heat, so does a gun
people with agendas of
enslavement, now currently known
as trafficking or boldly known as employment in some foreign lands because a few dollars are dropped
in tired hands....and people still
fight over which God is better....I thought there
was only one with many names and
bigger than everything
maybe the interpretations of texts are
differnet or people just want one
I thought we were supposed to rise
up into something bigger
not make the Creator so small that
there's none
it's almost summer time
and birds awaken and tweet
they're drowned out by the
sounds of televisions, computers,
and other things
humid is another heat
most don't look forward to
it's almost summer time
in this heat may come drought
let it rain, let it cool
