Fingertips

My fingertips are numb.
I've been so sick these last few
days.
The less I overcome.
I am sick in so many ways.
What a way to die out here.
Frozen like time stands still.
There's no need for me to fear.
I have just lost my will.

Identify what remains.
Just live a little.
Cluelessly recognize.
Just get in the middle.
Focus on the insane.
Resort to disguise.
Curiosity to entertain.
My brain, I will exercise.

Fingertips to shove in my eyes.
I'm darker than you realize.
A perfect way to cover my
eyes.
Within a stones throw of where
I'll die.
The liars in which I confide.
A taste of the bitter divide.

I feel the numbness building from the emotions, of not being able to touch... a very deep poem... enjoyed....SKAT
