Fine and Dandy
Sitting here in the grass talking to air.
Thinking out loud wishing I was there,so I,d be with you,I miss you.
It seems like yesterday U called,
and said you're just fine and dandy.
We giggled a little at that.
You said you're just barely getting through tomorrow at times,
enought of all that, I don't want my sorrows to bring U down.
We talk some more and then hung up.
Then one evening I was woken up,late night call.
Just to find out you truly were not fine and dandy.
It hurts to know you've gone away.
Still just sitting dusting off the pretty stone,
putting flowers in the vases on each side.
If you're wondering, everything is just fine and dandy.
Just missing you,and I always will.
Well I gotta go,I gotta crank myself up,getting old.
We would giggle at that.
Don't worry we'll be fine and dandy.
It'll be hard without you,but we will all be truly fine and dandy.
