Fine Amenities

he was
a bon vivant
not denying himself
any luxuries in life
did not believe
in abstinence

live to the fullest
was his motto
appreciate
the gifts of life
we will never
pass this way again

when he died
a starving artist
his pockets
were empty
but his heart
overflowed
not one regret
