Finding You Was No Mistake...
I have finally found the one I love,
The one sent to me from up above.
The one I’ll cherish and adore,
The reason that I’m living for.
The starlight of my evening glow,
I knew it from the first hello.
The sunshine upon my daily wake,
The strength behind each breath I take.
Finding you was no mistake...
We'll stand together side by side,
Heart’s united, filled with pride.
There may be sorrow and sadness, and there may be strife,
As we journey, together, pledged as one in this life.
And, we’ll have each other to lean upon,
Ever, together, united and strong.
Both forgiving the wrongs and each misstep we make,
Renewed, repaired and restored in all heartbreak.
Finding you was no mistake...
Each day will bloom with our love for one another,
At night, we'll share our dreams and plans with each other.
We’ll smile as sweet slumber takes over our day,
Snuggled together, in loving arms, we'll stay.
And through all the years, as health and beauty doth fade,
Yet, true love, kindness, and forgiveness has not strayed.
We’ll proclaim our commitment upon each day we awake,
And celebrate our love with each breath that we take.
