Finding True Love

Finding True Love

I have been alone for a while now
And I don’t care for it any more
I need to find true love again
The kind spoken of in distant lore

I would take her morning coffee
And make sure her needs are met
I would serve her breakfast in bed
It is just that I haven’t found her yet

I know she has to be out there
Yes, true love is hard to find
But God willing I won’t give up
My search will end with peace of mind

I have lived and loved before
But the time has finally arrived
I need to start all over again
I would like to again feel alive

The gentle touch of her hand
As she touches the lines of my face
And all the things I have missed
Like the memory of a sweet embrace

The love I had and lost
No longer abides in my heart
I found her with another
So I’m looking for a new start

For this I have often prayed
Finding true love is my quest
I believe my true love is waiting
When I find her.... all will be for the best

And true love could be right there, round the corner, waiting to be found.

yes Paul, It definitely could. That is how life works I guess. You never know until you know. Thanks Connie
