Finding the Real - Part One

a cold embrace
on two opposite ends 
of the cosmos
but not distant
an empty space
tears hit
the paved cement
losing this deadly race
finding the real
drowning in beautiful
seas of regret
encounters with strangers
that I've met
it was a cold embrace
and yesterday
i wept
