Finding Reality

I hear again and again, of people searching for what is real, Looking for the answers that they seek is like climbing up a hill. Their truth and their authentic self, they seldom if ever will find, If all they do is listen to others and never use their mind. Based on the things I’ve seen and heard; this is my simple conclusion. The things we observe with our physical eyes are the illusion. The answers to all the questions we have are safely hid inside. Thoughts that are both eternal and true always within us abide. Each of us must follow our heart and our path we will discover, Listen within to the voice of our soul, clues we will uncover. Step by step, the path we will follow, trusting it is the right way. We’ll live in the present, learn the lessons provided every day.

Trust your gut instinct…it always knows best. Nicely observed and described, Bill. Terry

our eyes are so attached to the illusionary physical world...but that other world (voiced by the soul) is what's real and leads one to authenticity. Such outstanding insight and wisdom, dear hubby, hugs

Dear Bill, this is brilliantly written and is so true! I love the way you've put it so eloquently. All the answers are inside of us, if we truly listen. Best, Anne

Thanks for your comment and validation of that part of the poem, my friend. It's what I personally believe. If man is able to lie to ourselves, how much easier it is to lie to others. Just as many are unaware they are lying to themselves, they too, do not realize that they are lying to others. Blessings my friend, Bill
