Finding my favorite

~ I gazed at the stars, every shimmer and shine, danced with a tree frog or two Laughed at the worries I once thought were mine, thanking the sun for the view Walked down a pathway of evergreen song, harmonies drift on the breeze Noticed the night didn't last all that long, putting the morning at ease Called out in whispers quite soft, all the while, dandelions slept on the hill Saw my reflection was wearing a smile, there in the waters so still Wished on a clover, its leaves counted four, tinted by blue skies above Life is a dream holding good things in store, finding my favorite is love ~

This is so beautiful dear Chris, you paint imagery so exquisitely and in such a soul stirring manner! I love the flow and also the layers of emotions in this that touches the readers heart, the last line, is beautiful as i always believe I do have a fave person. Altho it might sometimes not be romantic love in my case. Love moves like a breeze throughout this stunning poem! Pleasure reading! Sending you light, always
