Finding God
I did not know it would take this long,
To make my life into a song,
I close my eyes then have a chill,
The present of God feels oh so real,
Having my heart filled with so much grace,
Tears of joy rolled down my face,
Raising my hands up towards the sky,
God You make me feel so alive,
Knowing I'm able to drop on my knees,
And praying to God will be a breeze,
He helped me walk out of the dark,
And gave my heart back all of its spark,
I can still hear the devils sound,
But I have the Holy Ghost around,
He gave His life so I could be here,
The end of my days are no longer my fear,
Finding God has made me better,
Wish I could send Him a thank You letter,
And tell Him I'm glad I took a better glance,
It's good to know I have another chance,
Never in my life have I felt this way,
I'm happy I get to wake up everyday,
I'll keep my faith in the Man above,
Always giving Him my unconditional love!!
