Finding a New Me
Sunburst horizon on the sea drizzles gold dust adrift,
the hued dawn lifts a new day for me, a splendid gift.
In unfurling sky on lilac wings the cloud clumps rise,
on them with the rhythm of rhapsody my mind flies.
On satin beach the rapture of waves rolls with pearly glint,
washes away to marine oblivion deep my fragile footprint.
Twilight gleam melts in azure night of fluid past called sea,
I sail on storm searching for the silver shore to find a new me.
