Find Heaven With You

We've got one life to live and I want to spend my time next to you
Through the storm I don't mind stepping with you
We've both been through hell and made it out alive
So it's time to find heaven with you

We made it through with a smile and now the storm is stressed
Never thought I'd be the guy to send a girl good morning texts
But you know it's love when it doesn't feel like effort
Telling her you want to strip her naked while being respective

The younger me would make fun of the loved up guy I am right now 
I was close to giving up, but I turned my life around
Found you, and all of a sudden it all made sense
Even in our weakest moments, we both had great strength

Two different paths that brought us to the same place 
We met at the same time, without being in the same race 
I saw her smile and all of a sudden I felt better
Going through hell alone was worth it to find heaven together
