Finally Returning Home

Finally returning to a place I once called home.
Although I never stayed for too long,
It always stayed in my heart.
The last time I was here was a month before the "incident"
It has been two long years of longing for this place.
And I have missed it everyday since then.
The trees have been calling to me asking for me to come back.
Upon my return, my dog immediately took me for a walk to the nearby lake.
Now relaxed and happy, I am
Finally home.

I really like this Jesse. I haven't been back to my home place in years. I can relate, except there will be no one there.
