Finally It Rains
Cool breeze kisses my cheeks
Clouds gather, spray drizzles
Chill weather says something
Hey, It's going to rain
Standing on the terrace,
I anticipate the rain.
Clouds sprinkle droplets
The floor is full of rain drops
A big drop hits my head
But I don't get hurt
I count the raindrops
1,2,3...Drops keep on increasing
I can hear several sounds
when the raindrops hit trees,
floors and the roof of my home
Windows now, the refuge for wet birds
Plants and trees in my garden,
bath in the pure rain drops,
laugh and sway gleefully,
The birds and I enjoy the serene scene
