Final Masquerade

FINAL MASQUERADE

feel the sorrow drifting
like mist through
the street

listen to the carnal falter
of frantic souls
defeat

you said it was forever
then it slipped
far away

standing at the end of
the final
masquerade

hiding from the spark
of passionate
perfumes

you force predestined
conclusion as
presumed
