Figure In the Mist

My path built from nothing
Mere twine and sticks for constructing
My path to success
Leading me to be a figure in the mist.

All alone I built with purpose
Yet insecure at the surface
Quickly constructing my road to success
While my faith fades
Like a figure in the mist.

My path strengthened
By stealing other boards
And trust dissipates
Like a figure in the mist.

My path to success
Leaves laughter depressed
As I love my love in fortune
And my peace in doom
For my path was not one for joy
But rather one for title
As I become a mere figure in the mist.
