Figment
So many thoughts....
I thought we were strong enough to last
I thought we loved each other enough nothing would break us
I thought we were so happy we couldn't be apart
I thought a future together meant forever
I thought we found something deeper than love itself
I thought it meant enough for you to never let go
I thought committed meant a lifetime
I thought nothing could waver our deep-routed feelings
I thought waiting is okay because it would have been worth it
I was so sure I heard you say those promises....
These thoughts are only a figment of my imagination.
