Figment

I want to but I can’t
I should but I won’t
I had it but I lost it
Who knew it’d be gone in the blink of an eye
Just as fast as it stopped by

As if it was some figment of my imagination

Gone like those before
Broken when they left
Shattered heart turned comotose

I don’t want it but I could
I shouldn’t but I will
I lost it ‘cause I never actually had it

For it was all just a figment
Just like you
