Fight With In

Where can I find that selfless love
That can save this world from peril
that weapon to shield against war.
If war a must for peace to attain,
Each man a war zone from with in.

How can I set self free and fearless
From that freedom leading me astray.
I wish to be that nonchalant boy
Than this timid senseless grown man.

We grow to disappear in to the void
We learn to forget our obligations
We conqour impossible feats here,
that we thought beyond our realms
And claim them as our landmarks.

The history of man is of failures ,
We touch the sky in triumph
While most men live half starving.
Never think, how am I to be happy
Living amidst the cries of the hungry?

All over we see justice less applied
how l can I live in peace of my mind
while those who die without care
Dying immature for need of care.

Men get killed for faith, next door
They get killed for colour and caste
They fight below for the gods above
Next may be my throat in queue
But still we see no threat to self
Until unable to cry aloud when bleed.

We renew the original sin each day
The tree of knowledge is just fenced
For the powerful to savour at will
They know it has the power to reign
But forget it has the power to malign.

War for peace is like having sex to promote celibacy.

This is a powerful and expressive poem, my friend. There is so much negativity which is destroying our world, our values, and yet many of us choose to disregard what goes on. Shame on us! ~Regards // paul
