Fight the Good Fight
*Fight the Good Fight*

We are all occupants of the moment,
Often plagued by apparitions of our past;
God’s calling into account never absents our mind of the guilt,
That permeates our senses leaving us discouraged.
But that doesn’t mean our world will end, only that we’re concerned.
We use the word as a shield against others ricocheting words,
And in prayer we endeavor to touch the face of God,
The only one able to tether the despicable and resplendent;
Anxiety try’s to disrupt life’s floe,
And pleasant thoughts are summoned and sealed inside a box.
But our opening this box is never a good substitute for His tomorrow;
