Fight Fight

Two eight-year-old boys are angry
Smack-hitting each other.
Their faces are red.
There is a bit of crying.
Different than the two girls I know who are eight.
Animosity will last a few minutes
Not a life time.
Other boys catch on
Begin to take sides.
Stir it just a bit.
Different than the three nine-year-old girls.
The girls begin yelling “Fight! Fight!”
Big instigators
