A Catholic "priest" plays his role too well, publicly; a seasoned actor on the world stage. After the show's over and his audience fade away, his mask of piety peeps off a fig leaf concealing his monstrosity reveals... a sexual predator! Date written: 01/16/2020 Note: Another great movie--Spotlight(2015)--I saw a while back inspired this poem. There's no greater monster than a priest that preys on children!

It's pure evil, Edward. What a warped society we live in where children are not safe from predators who have elevated themselves to positions of power. These criminals are hypocrites with zero moral compass ~ they obviously don't believe in hell... and they are our spiritual guides. Inconceivable - totally beyond comprehension.

I wholeheartedly echo your sentiments, Line:-) Nothing could be more unsettling. It just makes my skin crawl thinking about it! There's a special place in hell for those janus-faced monsters. I appreciate the comments and visit!
