Fifty Words

To celebrate aging to fifty, A poet thought it would be nifty To jot down some verse; He wasn’t averse To being, with words, rather thrifty. Equipped with both paper and pen, He struggled, again and again; He had little luck, Annoyingly stuck, Then got it and yelled out Amen!

I can't seem to find the words in my mind to tell you just what I think. That paper and pen is stuck once again and that's why this comment will stink. :)

well, this is absolutely awesome that you could fashion two limericks from that word count. I am mad because the word counter of Soup is not saying correctly my number of words. I think I need to contact the judge and let him know before I post mine. Luv, Andrea
