Fifty Fifty

I asked my heart
Do you love her?
He says love, help, and save her.
My mind wonders!
After all that!!
All that were fifty-fifty
My heart replied.

I love this poem, Abdullah. I love your gracious reply to Pashang. I am not a conformist at heart, so when I first started experimenting w/the different forms, I caught some criticism. But that did not deter me from being my own poet. Whoever first invented any poetic form, they were not considered traditionalist. No doubt were heaped scorn. So nothing changes, really, does it. Great cultural translation of "ghazal." As always, your knowledge is appreciated. Love always. RW

Thank you dear Freddie for this informative comment. It's one of the best comments, in my view.

Nice poem, but this is not a "Ghazal".... P.S has a good example for this style of poetry.

Thank you. Yes it's not in English "Ghazal" form/s, however, in the heart of it, it is a ghazal - words of love :)
