Fifty and Fabulous

Woke up this morning, with something to ,"
check me out I'm fifty today!"
Looked in the mirror and what did I see,
Fifty and Fabulous staring back at me!
My mind is sharp, my body tight,
My soul done been blessed, and I'm feeling alright!
This is my moment, my time to shine....
I'm like vintaged wine,
I get better with time!
Nonsense.... That talk of feeling old!
I'm not tarnished silver,
I am sparkling gold!
Fifty and fabulous, can't you see.
I'm empowered , accomplished and free!
I know what I want! have what I need, failure is not an option,
I can only succeed!
No room nonsense or negativity,
If that's what you're about, stay away from me!
Don't get my fire started.
Cause it will burn...
And if you come at me sideways, you will learn!
I've learned a lot in these fifty years,
I've learned to overcome and face my fears.
Keep God first, in all that you do,
For in trying times, he'll surely
See you through!
Love genuinely, and passionately!
For loving ...will bless your life,
And when your helping others,
You are doing the work of Christ!
Lastly I advise, to yourself be true,
No one is gonna love you.... better than you do!
For those of you who fear getting older...
Don't you fret,
The longer you live, the better you get!
I'm fifty, I'm fabulous and free,
Today starts the better half, of me , being me!
