Fields of Amber

Breeze blows calmly south
fields of amber grains swaying-
     summer sun stares down.

Gorgeous! It feels like Nebraska in here, except I think they may be having snow right now.

Ahhh!! We don't see many fields of wheat around here but they are beautiful when they have reached their maturity ready for harvest. Enjoyed reading your work. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

I want to get lost in those fields you describe. They sound ethereal and pretty. Thank you for sharing, hope you had a great day dear Allen.
