Field and Stile

The green valley and the winding stream The stone cottage within my dream With a shady porch and easy chair I see my love, peaceful, sitting there Contemplating, waiting for my return I see those eyes, with fire doth burn With these thoughts I walk the mile The twisting road, field and stile The gate it creaks as I push wide That smiling face, love can't hide Into my arms of passion falls Of absent times desire it calls The kiss is passed, the taste divine Paradise found and feels sublime Garments fall and press the floor And the sensous bed and her adore I take of her in this sacred place Place the endless kiss upon her face Live the warmth she emulates And sleep the scent she radiates Every new day, every dawn On her heart mine is borne

To "live the warmth she emulates and sleep the scent she radiates" are such powerful, romantic words, Daniel. It sounds like you miss her very much and I hope she is soon in your arms again. Well done! Love, carolyn
