Fickle Feline

Princess of the window, feline Mewzette,
plotted a plan change with no regret.
Not wanting to peruse dog from perch on the sill,
she ventured out front door of her own free will.
When Buffy the bulldog went sashaying by,
Mewzette sprang into action, not batting an eye.
She leaped up at doggie, not sparing a breath,
but Buffy, so friendly, just licked her to death.
Kitty, now undone and all out of sorts,
decided to practice different cat sports.
Back in the window behind safety of glass,
she’s dreaming of fishies and eating green grass.
