Festival of Light

Imbolc recalls the Lady turned the Wheel
So we have come to keep Her promise true.
As Mother Earth awakes our candles burn
And voices chant our magic to appeal
For Springtime's sun to shine on morning dew.
The Lady wears a candle wreath, so bright,
A sign for all, as seasons start to turn.
And so the Goddess waits for love to heal
Her Lord, the Sun, all life begins anew.
As He returns from Winter's long sojourn
In dance and song we celebrate tonight
Released from darksome blight, without a care,
We celebrate this Festival of Light
The Seeds of Life bring hope across the air
