Fervently

Don’t be so flippant my weird teacher said Trying to scold me with A nasty glare I was entranced! A vocabulary word To learn! Hooray! Me myself and I loved a new word. That night scanning the dictionary I captured other words: Feather-like Figuratively And Finance I so fervently wanted to impress My teacher so I used Them all like a real nerd. I used free-based, fervent, Fritz and farce on Wednesday A day she cut me from the herd. She’s way too smart the teacher said. I know how to dumb students down; but I have No teaching skills that smarten one up. So I moved up to 2nd grade.

Totally false, but based on one of my daughters who could have skipped a grade, but it was "up to the teacher", and the teacher said "no" even thought she had already read every book in the library and The Mammoth Hunters which was on her 3rd grade teacher's desk.
