Fervent Flare

In my arctic heart
perennial permafrost
freezes fragile emotions.

In your flaming fervor
glacial desire turns cinder
in the inferno of love.

In my blazing yearning
searing crave swirls
with fervent flare of fire.

Subimal, this short poem is power-packed. I loved the use of alliteration--perennial permafrost freezes fragile emotions...fervent flare of fire. The 'glacial desire turns cinder in the inferno of love' reminds me of my haiku "Warmth." Is the word 'crave" in the last stanza a noun (craving)?

Thank you for your visit and for the encouraging comments. Crave is used as a noun like desire.
