Fertiile Mind

FERTILE MIND

Your mind is like a fertile land

What you sow, so shall ye reap

You have two seeds to choose from

Which one will you keep ?

The first is the seed of failure

The second the seed of success

Which one will you plant

That will flourish at its best

Your fertile mind, like the land

Does not really care

Either seed you plant

Will grow with fruits to bare

You have the choice, which seed to plant

Remember what you ought

When you have planted that very seed

You will be living off the fruits of your thoughts.

Which road to take when faced with the chance to do right from wrong, good vs evil, progress or regress. This is a poem of introspection and thoughts. Well written.

Awesome job Simone. What ever you sow,so shall ye reap, which seed will you keep. Well said, Simon. I never did like praying for a crop failure, after sowing the wrong seed. Smile. Doesn't work does it. Sincere, Agape, Moses

I like the way you write, Simone. You have set a great truth to rhyme and one that is worthy of thought and meditation. In truth, your dominant thoughts determine your course of action every time! What you give you greatest attention to will surely manifest. Keep planting seeds through your writing. Lightwalker

It would not be difficult to make the right choice if we knew which seed would lead to failure and which to success. You give us some great food for thought here, Simone. I did sign up for the issues, but haven't received one yet. Looking forward to seeing your poem posted there. Love, Carolyn
