Feral Beyond Comprehension

He was untamed by human nature, wild as a lion and fierce as a wolf. Not carrying any instinct other than intense cruelty, he kept his brutality for safekeeping. Like an undomesticated cat he roamed the streets at night searching for what seemed to be his prey. Like a chameleon during the day he seemed like a soul searching for redemption, but that was always his weak style. He thought strength was found in words spoken out of disrespect. Antagonized women for pleasure hoping he would find one to take home without mercy. Seeking something out of life other than affection he made connections with the only ones in mankind that were savage and fearless. Violence was the only way he knew how to interact with others and the rage in his essence seemed so sadistic he didn’t love even if he could. His youth was a sad one to say the least. Never was taught the difference between righteousness and wrong transgressions. So he grew to be a man filled with a temperament of disregard for the safety of those around him. One night feeling invincible he strolled once again with too much pride. Encountered a woman from his past that he treated with misconduct. He was never found again. Feral Contest August 6, 2018

I was thinking this is pretty dark, dangerously dark, I am shocked by this and then the ending made everything right, and brought me an insane happiness. Wow! I am loving this poem, Laura.
