Felt More Right

A soft whisper brought you to me Carried upon a cool gentle breeze To meet out on an emotional sea You came to me with an ease The waves murmured rolling tenderly The water a steely blue mirror Reflecting off its surface splendidly Two hearts together made it much clearer You're all my heart ever needed to know Under the stars on this chilly winter night As sure as the moons silvery beam glow My love for you has never felt more right

Upon having read through the poem, I thought to myself, "now this is all rather nice". It was only then that I realised it was another of your contest entries -- and yet another first place -- very well done, Poetess! Indeed, you are notching up an enviable reputation as a most accomplished and diversely capable writer in many differing poetic formats.Congratulations once again! In admiration. :) john
