Feelings

sat looking stunned
his world crumbled around him,
reflecting in his eyes.
from this moment
he was .....
alone.

playing on the radio
new release. ...  "feelings"
the haunting tune
ensnared by his thoughts,
why...is this happening
what...is the answer

shrugging his shoulders,
told his solicitor.
"I want custody of my son"

this transpired
together ...they built a new life
together ...they survived
