Feelings

Feelings give you personality,
they make you want and need,
they make you want to cry into your pillow and jump for joy.

Feelings are confusing things that are difficult to read,
they are mysterious and sometimes hidden deep-down,
never to be seen.

Let your feelings out!
Express how you feel;
For if you push them away and keep them locked up
you can go insane.
All those emotions stuffed inside,
coming to mind,
your blood boiling, your tears streaming, or your immense pride.

Don't let your feelings get the best of you
or trouble you the rest of your life,
LET IT OUT AND SCREAM OUTLOUD!
Weep and laugh, be calm and serene.

Your feelings are there for a reason,
to show how you feel and your emotions.
Let your feelings shine through and be who they are.

Another great one! Beautiful words, Grace. Been really enjoying exploring your page. You have a unique voice - one that inspires and uplifts. It's true - keeping your feelings inside is a good way to go crazy. lol I still struggle to express my feelings, but poetry really helps me do so in a healthy way. Always, Laura
