Feelings

I cannot presume to know,
What it truly feels like to be you,
I will only truly know
What it feels like to be you,
If you trust me enough to tell me.

You cannot presume to Know
What it truly feels like to be me,
You will only truly know,
What what it feels like to be me,
If I trust you enough to tell you.

I love the way you tied both sides of the trust. Hers and His was interesting to see the feelings about each of them.

I came into possession of a book called Through seasons of the heart by John Powell. he talks about these sorts of things in his book. He was a priest but he writes in a non religious way. Thank you for your gracious comments on my work. It inspires me to keep writing. I particularly love writing on demand. If you give me a subject of interest to you I will give you a poem on that subject. Thanks again David in NZ
