Feeling Violets

A purple violet in the lawn,
brings contentment at the dawn.
I contemplate what it will spawn,
until it's gone, until it's gone.

A yellow violet by the stream
stimulates my self-esteem
and makes me happy as I dream.
A pleasant theme. A pleasant theme.

A soft white violet in a nook
says purity where e'er I look,
like a clean and babbling brook.
The peace I took. The peace I took.
