A classic Jan poem: Superbly written, meaningful subject, and, of course, a touch of poo

Pollution seems to be a universal problem, Jan. One can understand when an oil drill ruptures and spills its contents into the sea, but pollution by neglect is an unforgivable offense committed by selfish people. You said a lot in four lines! Great work, Jan. Hugs to you.

Many people are not really aware of what happens to sewage. Some does get special treatment, but ultimately it's got to end somewhere! And, yes, your point about typhoid is a reality! Hugs // paul

It's a sad state that we as human beings, who pride ourselves on being so clever, cannot figure out how to dispose of waste other than polluting our waters. I would say this is a top priority considering our growing population. The Nobel prize should go to the next person who figures that one out! A great message in your poem Jan. ; ) 7

I'm almost certain that is a crime. I know it happens more than we know. A humorous take on this very important topic, Jan. Well done:)

Yuck!!!!! Jan!!!! Now my stomach is upset, that's not a picture I longed to see in my mind this morning. But I do think you got your point across in a wonderfully imaginative poetic way.

I came across the pic and knowing how we have had incidents of raw sewage being pumped out to sea I couldn't resist this charming little ditty lol By the way I don't surf or swim so its total fiction for me:-) hugs Jan xx
