Feeling Sadness
Feeling sadness
Impending madness
Living just one day without you
Not understanding
My heart’s demanding
That I be with you once more
I had forgotten love
For so many years
Searching, rehearsing
For the day when I might find you
I wondered if I would recognize
When that moment finally came
But after that first embrace
I knew that I would never let you go
It isn’t a myth that somehow you just know
I knew you would be mine
Until the end of time
I will vow to love you then
Just as much as I do now
