Feeling of Fulfillment
To my clouded mind I couldn’t so long make it clear,
in my old sky called life what else I could see as new
as the sun’s crayon would paint the dawn of New Year,
or what could alter for the better for me and for you.
Maybe I would meet the morning glow rather early,
go out for a walking bout on the sunburst sea shore,
see the waves break, spread free on the beach pearly
feel the return of radiant youth from the urn of yore.
Maybe I would stroll on newly cobbled garden trail,
in the shadow of clouds aglow under the seamless sky,
see how in crisp air on patina of flower butterflies sail
feel again the zephyr of youth that in vain passed me by.
Maybe I would sit by the window open on the starry sky,
when I was seized by its lure last I wouldn’t for sure know.
Silver tinsels strewn on seraphic moon beam I would descry,
feel again the touch of youth that had faded away long ago.
Maybe I’d hold your hands, see new dreams in your eyes,
for the old ones withered in the cold, discarded to ignore.
Try to see from azure sea of your eye the glint of glee rise,
in feeling of fulfillment the essence of youth I would restore.
