Feeling numb

Perfume lingers in the room.
He's convinced somehow she is still near.
The funeral a surreal nightmare.

This reminds me of my grandmother's "signature" perfume that she never went a day without! Anytime I smell it, I'm instantly transported back to those times I spent with her.

It is amazing to me how often I smell a certain smell, and I feel the presence of someone who is supposedly not here any more, Line.
