Feel the Wind
If your horse wants to run, give him the rein
You'll not descry his need to feel the speed
By holding him back again and again
Feel the pulse - perhaps you will feel his need
Feel the wind, through his mane and on your face.
You may descry the reason that he runs
Long gone generations have kept that pace
To ward off predators and men with guns
So ride on, cowboy, and feel your heart beat
Let your Mustang teach the rhythm of the West
As miles fly by beneath the pounding feet
Trust that he knows the land and he knows best
Do not be afraid and do not be shy
You must be a man if you would descry
