Can you feel me in my silence? I hold my words like fragile glass~ unclear which ones will agitate, unsure if truth will cost too much. I wait, my patience wearing thin. Can you feel me in my silence? I want to speak, but shadows rise; and every thought retreats again. I reach for courage, lose my grip. I stall, falter, then hesitate. Can you feel me in my silence? I do not want to disappear. I hope you hear the pain I hide~ the ache behind my quiet breath, the fear that love might break again. Can you feel me in my silence?
