Feeding You the Lies

So here I am, back again
Not long gone, nor to far
Ask me once more
I can't shift this pain

You forgot who I am but that's okay
I never knew who I was, you're not to blame
The colour I was, is the colour that I am
I had fallen to grey, where I felt all the shame

Colour me with what you feel
Tell my shade that I can heal
Begin with your darkness not your light
Show me with a slow fade to white

I was lost and now I am returned
Feeding you the lies to which I have burned
You've heard it all before, of that I am sure
Call me by the beast , I am still as pure
