Federal Workers In Dire Straits

Federal Workers in Dire Straits By Elton Camp After days without getting pay Some seek to find another way Park ranger: “For a tank of gas, Along this trail you may pass.” Said a guard at the National Zoo: “For a meal, I’ll show it to you.” “I’ll slyly process your passport If my family you help support.” “A gun permit I’ll secretly issue If my automobile repair you’ll do.” A NSA worker didn’t think it rude: “Will listen to your calls for food.” Resorting to barter becomes the game As all decide who they should blame But the IRS is right there to get tax For sending it in, don’t dare be lax
