February's End

It isn’t a leap year
So this is the end;
The month now has drawn to a close.
The winter has started
Its winding-down time
Depending on how the wind blows.

Tomorrow the calendar
Gets a new page
Since this one has used up its dates.
Now Lincoln and Washington
Get to relax;
The month filled with shamrocks awaits.

Only one request: Can you reduce March to 28 days for us, ilene? I'd like to get into April asap. ~ Wishin' and a-hopin'

Enjoyed this one, too, but have you noticed we celebrate with beer instead of food during March? Aloha!

love this one on February's end and March's beginning. I wonder if it comes in like lamb or lion.

Indeed, Ilene. Also, I look forward to a month of really good limericks as everyone does their best Edward Lear thing. Good one, Ilene.
