February 11th

I like June better than July
I like ‘20 more than ‘23
I like overthinking and dance parties
and how the sun rises in the east

If you only knew how much I cried when you said goodbye
Maybe you would have stayed a little bit longer then in her bed that night

But you never said you were loyal
You never said you didn’t lie
You never said you’d lose the game
But you kissed my head goodnight?

So why is the grass greener for you
While I’m stuck in the dark
I guess I should have found something better to do
then drive you home that night
