Featherless Angels

Featherless angels are sent from above
To show the world the true meaning of love.Quote - poets own
The featherless angel who never flew
The one thing which angels would love to do
Wings didn’t grow as they were expected to
So as an earth angel she lived life through.

Sad were the moments the angel would sigh
Wishing to sprout wings, a warrant to fly
Perchance to dance amongst stars way up high
And wallow in rainbows that brighten sky.

She cured many a heart sadly broken
With her magical celestial potion
Coming from her heavenly devotion 
'Twas the featherless angel's pure love token.

The angel was honoured to raise loves dearth
Doing all that she could to restore mirth
Helping the downcasts to find their true worth
Knowing they were loved and a star of earth.

Blessed are the kindly living on earth here
Many are the horror stories they hear
That's when unfeathered earth angels appear
To restore peace in a heart filled with fear.

I really love the cadence of this and the flow of your deeply moving and meaningful lines that convey so much, and fits the prompt theme so eloquently! So many great lines stood out for me but I absolutely love the rhymes and the depth of what you’ve woven here!
