Feather

Sometimes the wind can take me anywhere Rainy nights sing of the times, Your hands danced along my trail of desires Like the wind tonight. Now we whisper to the dripping window panes Days have gone by in a trice Our lips have lost the taste of each other Reminiscing about how we went charging On two different halves of a road torn apart. Sitting in a glass house atop a rainy mountain I see the stars have lost their sparkle, Lost in a labyrinth of flesh, smoke and ignorance, The trees are the closets, Dangling are the skeletons of hundreds Some inside, some out in the open, Through the thatched roofs of shame The tired walls of blame, The footsteps never dry under the boring sun. Fingers are walking everywhere, While I wait and watch the vagabonds of human nature I wait for the wind to take me home, I wait for the wind to change course, To be my air to breathe.
